Ryan Matthews is a skilled problem solver who approaches property development with innovation and individuality. A self-made success, Ryan began his career in the construction industry 20 years ago, carving out a path of multipreneurship in various successful business ventures. His interest in property grew from observing a lack of affordable residential property that was functional as well as aesthetically pleasing. Combining personal experience with a keen desire to provide a market solution, Tuakiri was born out of Ryan’s desire to make a difference. Through Tuakiri, Ryan is able to fulfil his purpose of providing homes for families, in addition to driving wealth creation for Kiwi property investors.
Limin Croft is a seasoned project manager with over three decades of experience in the building and construction industry. Her career trajectory showcases remarkable achievements in project management, property development, and team leadership. Limin has been actively involved in both brownfield and greenfield developments, ranging from 2-lot subdivisions to large-scale residential projects of up to 700 lots. She recently managed the compliance for a subdivision of over 200 lots, covering COA, EACC, S224C, and Title processes, demonstrating strong team-building skills.With qualifications in Architectural and Civil Engineering, a Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting, and a Diploma in Business Computing, Limin possesses a diverse skill set essential for effective project management. Her certifications as a HomeStar Practitioner NZGBC, PRINCE2 Practitioner, and PMP further validate her proficiency in project management methodologies.She is passionate about development and is committed to building quality homes for the public with speed.
Stefan Powney is a seasoned real estate professional with a strong track record in land and new build sales. He led a top-performing land sales agencies, helping a range of developers secure development-ready sites and investment opportunities. Prior to that, Stefan successfully managed a high-performing sales team specialising in new builds, where he developed deep industry knowledge and a track record of sales that speaks for itself. With a unique understanding of both land acquisition and residential new build sales, Stefan brings strategic insight to our projects.
Since 2013 Lili Sun has been a project manager for residential housing projects of varying scales. These sites have included her experience with individual companies as well as her own business. Her ability to work with a wide range of providers and suppliers has been evident in her success in delivering a high level of customer satisfaction. She is familiar with identifying sites for development and meeting Council and utility requirements. With this knowledge and confidence, she has been able to manage and coordinate the necessary skills to complete projects.
Daniel, is a highly experienced construction site manager with over three years of hands-on experience in successfully delivering projects. After graduating with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Structural), he has established a proven track record in project planning, scheduling, and budget management.What sets Daniel apart is his strong leadership and team management skills. Andrew is Managing Director of Xpect Property, a property development and strategy consulting business. He works with property developers and owners throughout the country on their businesses and across a wide spectrum of primarily residential projects including townhouse infills, large subdivisions, and apartments. His specialties are complex projects, unique projects and continuous improvement.Prior he was CEO of Universal homes including a 1500 home subdivision and delivering hundreds of homes a year, a Project Director in NZ and the United States and was head of Development Management at Housing New Zealand.Having lived property development for over 25 years, he is an advocate of advancing the development industry and building people's futures. To this end he lectures property development at Unitec and is a founding board member of the Urban Development Institute of New Zealand and has written a few books. Andrew has degrees in architecture and propertyHe brings extensive experience & knowledge in the development landscape to Tuakiri.

Simon is the founder of Corvara Capital Consulting. He has over 35 years’ experience in financial management and corporate finance having worked for merchant banks, high net worth individuals and acting as an independent corporate advisor. Over the last 25 years, Simon has focussed solely on privately owned businesses, working with owners and executive teams, in improving operational and financial performance, getting businesses ready for sale and if required executing the sale process.Prior to founding Corvara Capital Consulting, Simon held senior management and advisory positions with Flowers Financial Group, Cullen Investments, Bancorp Merchant Bank, Sibson & Co, Gates Opticians, Telecom New Zealand and NZI Bank. Simon has a MBA and Bachelor of Commence Degree from Auckland University and is a qualified Chartered Accountant. He brings a wealth of fiduciary and governance experience to Tuakiri.
